Sound Devices has just released new firmware 2.0 for the Pix240. The exciting part is that we have one here at MCP and we can't wait to use these new features. The new features allows broadcast controls on the conveniently built-in monitor, you'll be able to adjust the brightness, contrast, and color just like a broadcast field monitor. Additionally, features such as focus assist, 1:1 pixel zoom, and zebras will make it easier, more reliable in the field, and eliminating the need for a separate camera operator's monitor.
